Our History
1998
Gotham Surgical Founding
In early 1998, Matt Rowe founded Gotham Surgical and Brace as a distributor of Arthrex products in New York. Starting with a single employee and only 1,500 products, the company relied on strong customer relationships to provide surgeons with the best possible experience.
1999 - 2022
Gotham Surgical Grows
Over the next 20+ years, Gotham grew in both company size and reach. The team expanded to 130 employees across New York City, Long Island, Westchester, and Connecticut, and distributed a catalogue of over 15,000 Arthrex products.
2022 - Present
The New Arthrex Westchester
To better serve the region, Gotham was divided into three separate territories: Westchester, New York City, and Long Island. Matt Rowe's Gotham Surgical retained control of the Westchester territory and was later renamed Arthrex Westchester. Now boosting over 45 employees across 6 teams, Arthrex Westchester looks forward to supporting their surgeons and hospital systems with the same dedication and integrity for years to come.
